Email signature generator
Type your details and copy a clean signature into Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail. It is built from words alone, so it looks the same in every inbox and is never blocked as an image.

How it will look:
This tool works out its answer in your browser: what you type or open stays on your computer, and the page sets no cookie.
This tool needs JavaScript, which is off in your browser. Everything else on the page reads without it.
What makes a signature work
- Who you are and how to reach you: your name, your role, one phone number and one website. A reader looks for a number, so put it where they can tap it.
- Words, not a picture. Text can be read, selected and tapped, and it stays sharp on a phone. A picture is often hidden until the reader allows it.
- Short. Three lines are plenty. Long legal notes and quotes make every reply in a thread longer.
Signatures on replies from ContactRoll
Replies your team sends from a case in ContactRoll come from your organization’s support address, with your organization’s name beside it, so a customer always knows who is writing. See Connect your support email.
Questions
How do I add the signature to my email program?
Press Copy the signature, open your email program’s signature setting (in Gmail, Settings, then See all settings, then Signature; in Outlook, Settings, then Signatures), and paste. If your program takes HTML, copy the HTML instead.
Why is there no logo or photo?
A picture in a signature has to be loaded from somewhere when your message is opened, and many email programs block it or show it as an attachment. A signature of words reads the same in every inbox.
Is what I type kept anywhere?
No. The signature is built in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else.
