Undo a bulk change or an import
When you change many records at once, or import contacts from a file, you can put it back for seven days. ContactRoll keeps what each change wrote, and Undo restores every field it changed.
Undo a bulk change
After a bulk change finishes, the list says what it did and offers Undo this change. You can also press Undo later from Activity, under My settings, for seven days.
Undo puts back what the change wrote: the owner, a status, a field, a tag. It takes people off the list they were added to, and ends a sequence they were added to if nothing of it has been sent to them yet.
A bulk delete moves records to Trash, where they stay for 30 days. Its Undo restores them from Trash, as before.
Undo an import
After an import, the page offers Undo this import, and Activity offers it for seven days. Undo puts back every blank field the import filled in, removes the phone numbers it added to people already here, and moves the people and companies it made to Trash. Restore them from Trash if you change your mind. Consent the file recorded, and confirmation emails already sent, stay as they are.
What Undo leaves alone
- A record changed again since. If someone changed a record after the bulk change or import, Undo leaves that record exactly as it is now. It is listed under Which were kept, and why, with a link to it, so you can decide.
- A record you can't change. Undo asks each record again as you. One your role may not change is kept and listed.
- Something already sent. A sequence step that has gone out is not taken back, so that enrollment stays.
Undo is yours for the changes you made. Owners, Administrators and anyone whose role reaches every record of a kind can also undo other people's changes to it.
