Your brand kit

Your brand kit is one place for how your marketing sounds and looks. ContactRoll checks every marketing piece against it before approval, uses it when Google or HeyGen make words, pictures or videos for you, and can show it on your help center.

Open Marketing, then Brand, at https://app.contactroll.com/marketing/brand.

What marketing may say

  • Voice notes: how your brand writes.
  • Words to avoid, separated by commas.
  • Claims to avoid, one per line.
  • Tagline.
  • Narration voice: the voice for spoken lines in videos, from Google's voices on your own Google key.

A piece that uses a word or claim to avoid is flagged for a second look before it is approved.

How it looks

  • Primary color, Second color and Background color.
  • Fonts: their names, such as "Inter for headings, Source Serif for text".
  • Logo: a picture of your own from a media library, as a PNG or JPEG. Pictures kept as references are for inspiration only.
  • HeyGen brand kit (optional): one of your own HeyGen brand kits, for produced videos, once HeyGen is connected.

Press Save the brand kit. From then on, every piece is checked against it, and HeyGen and Google are given it.

Set it up

  1. Add your logo to a media library first: open a campaign or a product and use its media library.
  2. Open Brand and fill in what you have. Every field is optional.
  3. Press Save the brand kit.

Setting the brand kit is one of the steps on the Getting started card, and it ticks off as soon as the kit holds something.

On your help center

Your help center can show your brand kit: your background and primary colors, your tagline and your logo. Open Settings, Help center, at https://app.contactroll.com/settings/help-center, and under Your brand kit tick Show the brand kit on this help center. The page shows what the kit holds, in the colors it would be drawn in, with a link to change it.

ContactRoll keeps your help center easy to read. Text is near-black or white, whichever reads better on your background. Your primary color is used for links and buttons wherever it reads clearly. Your help center uses its own standard font.

Who can do what

Everyone can read the brand kit. Owners, Administrators and Marketers keep it, along with product facts, the media library and references.
